WINNIE (ARNAC BAY WINOTA)

Winnie was born in May 2005, she was bred by Christine Mayhew (Arnac Bay Chesapeakes) in the south of England. We collected her and brought her home in mid-July. She is doing great and mixing well with our other dogs. Her mother is Arnac Bay Pride, a multi winning bitch who's progeny have excelled in both the working arena and the show ring. Winnie's father is Pond Hollow Bering Sea (Bery), he is a US Champion who has been brought for six months to the UK by Janet Morris to improve and expand the gene pool of Chesapeakes in the UK. Winnie has been very successful in the Show Ring taking second at seven months old in the Puppy Stakes at an Open Show out of an entry of approx seventy puppies of differing breeds. She followed this up in July 2006 by getting Reserve Best in Show at the UK Chesapeake Clubs' Annual Show out of an entry of more than sixty Chessies, she was only fifteen months old when achieving this.
